Based on our research, we felt the Diode method by laser maker Alma (Soprano) was the most superior product being offered on the current market. There were several factors that made this machine unique in its class. First, Soprano by Alma is the only machine that allows laser hair removal to be done without numbing cream, and therefore does so painlessly.
While all other machine makers, who also have new, state-of-the-art technology, require use of numbing cream prior to the session, we felt that factor alone made Alma’s technology truly superior. Secondly, Alma’s technology treats darker skin tones (Skin Types 3-6) gently while still being effective. We can treat dark tanned and black skin just as easily as very pale skin.
